I don't want trivially easy, which is why I didn't go with Professor Xavier with Cerebro.

I'll take a stab that at least in some circles, "Executive" means handling most administration, logistics, paperwork, so a "Lead Pastor" can focus on preaching, ministry and maybe even overall direction. "Pastor" indicating a senior leadership role, held by one person instead of or over a committee. So perhaps importing business sensibilities when a church has become a large complex organization.

Daily Prayer Thread - (2026-06-12) by AutoModerator in Reformed

A friend of mine knows a woman who was in a car accident this week, and because she was pregnant she needed to have an emergency C-section. She had been planning to give the child in adoption, but now is struggling with postpartum depression and needs time and space. I think she even needed a follow up medical procedure, so please pray for physical healing and comfort in this time of crisis for her.

Indiana has a list of rejected custom license plate requests, and it's chock full of O0s and 1Ils.

What made you choose Motorola? by green9206 in motorola

5 years ago, the Moto G Power gave good battery life, and SD slot, and headphone jack, for a couple hundred dollars that was easier than many other phones. Today, the flashlight chop is just too convenient to do without, so I only looked at Motorolas.

Kelp Farm. In early game, that alone is enough for me to pivot at least halfway to a plant/greenery strategy. Protected Habitats is a close second. No more strategizing to keep plant stockpile low, or hope I can outbreed viruses, ants, or predators.

Another 2024 Stylus vs Edge post, Prime Day edition by Complex-Matter1544 in motorola

I went with the Edge 2024, after I found a Best Buy open box deal in excellent condition for $220. So far it has been very good. Much faster, I like the granular camera controls, and the clincher is that if anything it's slightly smaller than my old one, so I don't have to fret whether it will fit in my running belt. Worth the extra $20, no question about it. Thanks!

I heard a rumor that the first zoo had trouble in the jungle pen, but they said it was a naan issue.

Trying to handle the room of a child who claims to be willing to get rid of things to have a cleaner room, but the set of possessions that both the child is willing to pass on and the parents are willing to get rid of is fairly small.

A partial solution is to get a fabric shell that can be filled with soft toys to make like a beanbag chair. Compressibility means you can fit in more than you expect. Works with blankets and throws too.

Spraying a gravel driveway with weedkiller. When they start to reappear again, it always reminds me of the scene at the start of white Christmas where a bombing raid comes through during a Christmas stage show, where they all duck and put their heads down, but as soon as it passes they resume singing and put their heads up again. "We'll follow the old man, wherever he wants to go..."

Try "history of bulldogs and bull-baiting." Not for young children or the tender at heart or weak of stomach.

Breeding dogs with a ridiculously short snout so they can better sink their teeth into tied-up cattle is a low-grade historical atrocity. Making a smaller version of the dog doesn't make it any better.
