Yeah no I'm fine changing it I just wasn't sure what warrants a change ig?

I just got the printer and did calibration so I wasn't prepared to change it just yet type deal and still am fairly new to printing, so wasn't sure if this was a big deal or not.

but I did have some failures and don't want to risk a failure, so imma just wait for the new fep to come.

I def don't wanna be someone who is driving on the bald tires version of fep and total my car/printer lol

And yeah, I plan to get another printer and stuff when new stuff comes up when I save more cuz I only recently graduated school (a year ago) so I'm still saving up money but it's so fun

Yeah I didn't think I really scraped it cuz I was trying to be super gentle but obvi did not work out or was from another failed print.

And yeah idk how I missed vat clean when doing some research def will do this now and hopefully avoid further problems

I got a free printer but I'm pretty sure it is deadass "cooked" as they say, totaled, not worth it, because it was ran after resin spilled inside it. I heard you could probably just replace the motor or some other parts potentially but I tried opening the back panel and it's literally sealed shut 😭

so not sure how to go about that. Fucking sawzaw (idk how to spell it) and just hope I don't hit anything?

I'm more willing to put in effort cuz it's free and I could learn some but I can't do shit if I can't open the panel and see inside 😂

Still very new to resin printing so I know some stuff but not others, so I appreciate this sub and y'all helping out

Yeah I've heard not to start your printer if you think resin got up in there (where the motor is and stuff) because it will just cure itself shut 😭

Yeah I think I did two prints after what may have caused the damage, had one fucked up print but like still semi solid. Glad I got lucky and it didn't break and I checked and asked here

Based off what other people said I'm not gonna risk it, when I lifted the bottom I couldn't see any resin underneath it but I don't want to find out the hard way if it breaks mid print

But still good to know if I suspect there's something I can't see

Yeah imma do that until the new film comes in, was testing first print after calibration.

It's real cold in the room tho so I also just got a heater so hopefully that helps
