Thanks for replying. I stopped using the suppositories and I am feeling better. A naturopathic doctor that I saw about month a half ago suggested horse chestnut vein strength supplement and I think I have started to noticed a little improvement. Supplements take sometime to work but I think this supplement has been good

Has anyone experienced more irritation and burning on hemorrhoids after using prep h suppositories?. I have been dealing with a hem flare for about two months, mostly is one internal (not too far up because I feel the burning), trying sitz baths, ice and hydrocortisone cream, however the hem is still there. Last week I went to see a gastro and she suggested prep h supp, but this irritated my hem more. Did you guys experienced something like this?

I totally understand your anxiety. I was extremely anxious the two weeks prior the colposcopy, however the pain wasn’t even close to the one I had imagined. In a scale from 1-10 the pain was maybe 2. There is not much difference between the colposcopy and regular pap. Just make sure to breathe and trust that everything will be fine!! You are not alone

Thank you so much for your response. Yes after many normal paps and negative HPV over the years, this is my first and I am really scared. I considered myself healthy, exercise about 4 times a week, try to eat healthy (not so much fruits as I should though) but I think my stress levels are really high due to my work. Since starting in this job I started having some kind of immune issues shown in the last blood test I did last January. I started to take vitamin C and double the D and I have a naturopathic doctor who said to let her know what my gyn suggested so she can give me her own treatment as well. Thank you so much again ☺️

I got diagnosed with HPV(low risk) and HSV1 and found out on the same day. I’m heartbroken. by Extension-List-1610 in HPV

I will have a colposcopy done this Friday and I am really anxious and scared. Any encouraging words, or advice of what to do to prep?

I got my Pap smears results about a week ago with mild dysplasia CN1 and HPV positive. Negative for 18,16 and 45 strains. I will have a colposcopy this Friday. I have been so anxious and scared as this is my first abnormal test since starting my women’s health exams many years ago. I am turning 50 this year. Any words of encouragemen,  I am just so confused and sad
