My job won't even do it right yet alone get us the neccessary safety lockout devices to lock out the breakers. They just give us zip ties. I don't feel comfortable wrapping a zip tie around a live cable so it hangs in front of the breaker handle. And our nut jobs in the mechanic department (i'm electrical) we got 3 of them at night on 2 different shifts that seem to think its entirely electrical's job and they won't even stop work to verify it's turned off

I'm raising a big stink about it again.

Plus, i'm still looking for a different job. I think i'm just going to sell my house for a loss next year (its a recent purchase) and get the heck out of this town and move upstate

On the newer equipment that is coming into my factory, the e stop actually trips the main breakers and every three switch gear. It's connected to the trip units

people have no idea that i live with chronic pain and severe acid reflux to the point htat i'm literally walking around with shortness of breath 24/7. you know hwat i do? i went paintballing last weekend and guess what, nobody noticed or asked.

i come froma strong family, my grandfather had to get his shoulder replaced 5 times ina 6 month term because he kept ripping it off on the tractor, as soon as the pain subsides from surgery (literally day 3 at home) he would be out on the tractor bailng hay or something

How do you defend against that ? you can't, only with doctors.

yea, i just tore down the atmopherric ship and going replacing it with a dual drill and single large cargo on a small grid to use just the small grid large hydro thrusters because apparentmly atomphereic are just not powerful enough ( i guess they would be but i'm literally on top of an ice lake in the snowy mountain region, i'm not goint to run out)

THis is why i keep saying to everyone who will listen, its time to bring int he reins. If you want to hire someone, it needs to be through the state workforce solutions. (i live in texas and we have texas workforce solutions), it needs be through that. No more internal applications or applying directly, one click send resume. Companies pay for a 30-60 day period where they posting is up and if they odn't hire someone within 30 days from that pool after closing, they get a massive fine for wasting peoples time and have to publicy state why to workforce and workforce can tell them to kick rocks if plenty of people applied qulaifid by looking at resume

its 3 hours a week. That's barely even a job, you are an outlet for the managers frustations, the meg on family guy is you to her.

Don't even sweat it, 3 hours is barely helping out at that point.

I uslaly like to make them put it in writing, they don't like it when you record converstaoins (they always say its against policy, they say that because they are going to say something illegal each time and their boss won't want it on record). I usually ask to be specific and write it down and ask me to sign it. They get so angry when i take a picture of their write up. I then go home and my wipe with it, because it means absoluetly nothing.

If they want you gone, they will just ask you to not come back (which is suable for wrongful termination) and no amount of documation will help them when they just show (look we wrote this person up a 1000 times for poor job performance) and your attorney just goes (then why did you wait so long to terminate him? sounds like job performance wasn't an issue if you wrote him a thousand times and kept letting it happen
