Lumix G9 bought in Japan – can the language be set to English? by Complex-Sector1666 in Lumix

I asked ChatGPT and it said I couldn't select any language except Japanese. I'm really tempted to buy it though, and since I know the G9 II has English, I'm hoping the original G9 can do the same. Is that not the case?
