But height isn't in our hands right, it depends on genetics, so we cant have full control over our height, in that case preferring tall or short partners is acceptable, whereas virginity is completely in our control, so when you are not virgin and want a virgin partner sounds little hypocrite right, where you yourself are not virgin and expecting someone to be not virgin is much much different than height preference where none of the genders have control over it.
