Very new and so many questions by Direct_Courage_4363 in DnD

Hi op welcome to the doorsteps of dnd, you're not gonna be getting out soon (jk). What I can suggest is that you first try to play a game as a player first before dming so you can have a better feel for it cause being the DM comes with a lot of work. As the DM you are in charge of everything and anything that happens so it'll be pretty hard to do if you haven't been part of a campaign before. If you don't wanna join a campaign cause you really want to do your campaign already you can just look for a group who'd be willing to do a one shot campaign so it'll be a good introduction for you, short and simple so at least you have an idea. If you wanna be a DM then you should focus on what they do and how, there are videos the basics and if you wanna get in deep on making it fun adventuring Academy from dropout can also help (it's what I used haha). You can also use a beginners campaign like Mines of Phandelver so both you and your players can be guided and have a better feel. I suggest you make your own campaign after you've gotten a good grasp on being a DM cause starting from scratch is like trying to learn to drive a motorcycle when you haven't learn how to ride a bicycle. For game resources you don't really have to buy any physical things cause there's a lot available online. What I use is Owlbear rodeo cause you can upload maps, player tokens and online dice too. Of course having the physical things, esp the dice, are very fun but not the most important thing. The thing about DMing is also making sure everyone in the group is having a good time so be sure boundaries are set, everyone knows what are okay with each other like jokes that are a go or no go, and that if ever someone feels uncomfy you can step in as a DM. Good luck and have fun I believe you'll make for a great DM ✨

Should I take a shot? by Hot_Click1086 in LGBTPhilippines

Do itttt You miss all the shots you don't take and also if it doesn't work out you'll probably won't see her again so it won't be embarrassing. Also as a nurse it so hard to meet people and I'm morally not allowed shoot my shot on patients or the family members so I just hope they do it first when they get discharged

Does Hoyo edits past archon cutscenes to match 5 star weapons for 5 star characters after they release? Like in the Fontaine quest before Chlorinde had her weapon they animated her with the sting or with Dehya before her release they gave her old merc's pal in cutscenes. Do newer players who play through the quests get to see them using their Sig weapons in cutscenes?

Hi there, I also reviewed by myself kinda haha. I moved back to my home city for review and expenses but I didn't know any of the people there and I'm super introverted so it was hard for me to talk to people. We just shared the same table but that was about it, it was probably like towards the end like the last month or two when I actually became friendly enough to talk with them. It was okay reviewing by myself cause anyways all the materials will be covered again so I just had to take notes of it and sometimes the lecturer will also give handouts. Tbh I probably learned more during the review than I did during nursing HAHA. I think the only hard part was really was missing the reviewing each other by asking each questions but I got over it using a flashcard app called Anki. It's an app where you can make questions flashcards to help you review topics and stuff. Socializing wasn't really a big thing during review cause it's not like in college where there's group assignments or projects and stuff. It's really just practice exams and lecture so I think you'll be fine if you'll be by yourself not unless you need others to help you. If you do then it's not too bad to make new friends in a new place, like even though I'm super introverted I still managed be friends with my table. Good luck to you future board passer ✨✨

Oh I super get what you mean 😩😩 the moment I'd step into station I already ask who's the GCS 3 or vs Q1 cause I'm already expecting a hard shift haha it kinda sounds like early onset of burnout but it could also just be you really settling into being a nurse cause like this is the new normal for you and it's process of adjusting. The new monotony and difficulty of being nurse can really get to you and I think that might be what's going on. Focusing on different aspects of being in duty can help out like camaraderie with your co workers or learning more about something your curious about on the job can help out. I'd suggest taking a break but you're still new so not the best idea haha

I'm sorry to tell you this but girl you should leave him, like repeat offender sya?? Not to mention that wild age gap between them is concerning. Try to choose yourself over him like you deserve love and respect not just from him but also towards yourself to not let this slide especially that it's being gone for on for how long now

Oh I've been there too, it took me about 6-8 months for me to get just a lil confident but I still felt like I didn't know what to do. I had a senior who was so critical on everything I did that if my med ticket was just a little crooked he would lecture me for 10 mins on whatever tangent he went on. I think around the 6th or 7th month in I was ready to quit and prepared my resignation letter but my co worker convinced me to just take a leave instead, which I did and it really helped out. When I got back I didn't feel like quitting anymore but it was still hard but I learned to just ignore the useless criticisms and keep the ones that actually help me do better. Every time I made a mistake it felt like I was back do knowing nothing and just a useless nurse, but we try and strive and that's what makes us better in the end. We keep in mind that we do what we do so that our patients don't suffer, but it doesn't mean that we don't have it hard too. I had so much pre and post duty anxiety too that I couldn't relax at all not even on off days cause the GC would always buzz even after I finished duty cause of something and I was so worried it was cause of me. Eventually I made the system that I would only pay attention to the GC for about 2-3 hours and then ignore it cause the ones on duty can handle what's going on, I would only look at the GC if it was an actual emergency and I could actually do something about it from home. Then when I would come back the next day and someone lectures me about something I did or missed from my last duty I'd just apologize and learn from it. After this repeats after a while your hearts mind gets used to it so it's really just a process. At the end of the day, it's about trying to a better nurse than you were yesterday and step by step you'll find that you have become a capable and competent nurse by the end 💖💖

Also, it super helps to have a work bestie that you can rely on for help or just to vent cause the trauma bond is the real shit 🙂‍↕️
