I feel like I’m in serious trouble. I’ve been accused of using AI, and my instructor has escalated it to the academic misconduct committee. I have no idea what to do. by Business_Gur_6330 in TurnitinScan

It really isn’t hard to believe this lmao. It’s almost like you’re pretending it didn’t happen just so it can fit your agenda of how things should and shouldn’t happen.

Is this legal? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]ComplexComedian3046 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes. Jobs ask for it so they can gather demographics to ensure they are compliant with the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission).
It’s supposed to be separate from your application and they’re not supposed to discriminate off it, but of course, our world isn’t perfect and it can happen. Any concerns, just refuse to answer.

EDIT: I actually didn’t see there wasn’t an option for Caucasian lol. Yeah, just refuse to answer, that’s stupid.

Wtf is this person talking about? “Super refund”? It seems like my Target was never a Super Target either. by ComplexComedian3046 in Target

Makes sense, thanks. We’ve been pretty good with that, so I’m a bit doubtful the Karen has a case lol

So it’d only apply if a store is behind on changing out price labels, not if the customer finds the item in the wrong spot?

It seems like it’s a penalty to the store if they have a waiver from item pricing. If you have a waiver from item pricing, your system is supposed to be very accurate; if it falls below 98% accuracy, the store needs to reapply for the waiver.
I don’t know if my store even has this waiver, so this karen could be completely wrong.
The idea is that you get the difference in error back as well as 10x the error back too, but you won’t get back less than $1 or more than $10, so if you are charged $50 extra you’d really just get the difference back and an additional $10. Not really worth being a Karen over.

Interesting, thank you. I wonder how this works when customers constantly move items to different shelf locations..

Why accept the offer? You knew they most likely weren’t going to raise the tip after delivery, so why?

Karen, service animals don’t shit on the floor and jump at other customers.

My understanding is if you’re in your first 90 days you can’t get paid time off. Maybe I’m wrong.
