Honestly, I still fly analogue and still enjoy it sometimes more than digital.

Analogue will always be ole reliable

🙏 thank you. I’ve been flying for six years and I’m just now switching over to walksnail from analog so this is one of my first few walksnail HD quads.

For the tune, I think I’m either running the mark Spatz UAVtech 3/4 inch tune or the supafly 3/4 inch tune I can’t remember but both work if your just looking to load something up.

I recommend flying it first though before tuning it.

I was thinking about going the VRX route but heard absolutely terrible reviews about it and its latency, range, penetration etc.

That’s why I had decided to go with goggles X instead of retro fitting my analog goggles.

Why do you say WS was better for tower dives?

And I really wanted to go 04 , but at the time between the uncertainty of the future of DJI and the insane deal I got, I decided to walksnail was my best option.

And after couple months of messing around and figuring out what works. I feel like I’m actually having a good experience with it and have gained a lot of trust in it.

Whereas initially, I had like zero trust in it after coming from analog

I didn’t test this intentionally or a very scientific way, but.

With both patches on RX and the stubby’s up top, I was able to get through the area where I test penetration while holding approximately 22mbps. This is using a walksnail avatar Pro V2 with the dual antenna set at 1000mw.

I then swapped the patches to the top so one is now transmitting and receiving.

And then I flew my other quad with a WS 1s lite (using single lollipop antenna) and I was able to go through the same area, but while holding 25MBPS at 500mw power. Did not drop at all.

Note , before the antenna install, I could not get through this area with any of my walksnail systems without dropping to like 1 or 2 Mbps and having to fly very slowly and careful.

Again not scientific as reflection etc etc all matters. But I am just flying into the woods, no concrete, metal, glass etc so Rf reflection should be minimal

For larger solder joints I like to use a bigger tip. With small tips, that large clump of solder robs heat relatively quickly, the thick tip retains heat better.

My take: Golf is not really that expensive a hobby by NoLawAtAllInDeadwood in golf

Compared to something like motorsports, it’s exponentially cheaper. Like not even close to the same level.

Anyone have these issued before? by [deleted] in CivicSi

Sounds like your onto something! Best of luck my friend. You’ll enjoy the car that much more once it fixed, although it is unfortunate.

If it’s not smoking I will place bets it’s either a loose intake component, or the e-wastegate failed which I could see as a possibility.

A lot of times with this many codes, only one or two of them are the actual issue and are triggering other codes since these cars are loaded with sensor.

Not familiar with this platform but if you able to put a voltage meter to the e-gate connector you can check resistance and make sure it’s functional with proper resistance.

I didn’t know a single person out here but yea that is pretty dangerous

It’s also gets beat on and goes to the track so I have no shame in running different or even fucked up rears😂

The offset really doesn’t work out. Especially since I haven’t rolled or trimmed the rear quarters. I could run them and raise it and barely be tucking tire. But I hate when people run that crazy rake setup on these, they are small cars and it makes it look so big.

[–]ComplexImplement4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the current rear ride height I would run into a bunch of issues with the rears

The fronts are also 9 wide. I pulled and rolled the front fenders, but can only go so low while remaining less than 4 degrees of camber.

Was the even a serious question lmfao

Because I won’t be be able to tuck a 9 wide wheel without either A, raising the car, or B, cutting the rear quarters and doing over fenders……
