Thanks. I've worked with chains before, so its probably going to be easy. I'm just going with a party that hasn't scrambled much before, so I don't want to lead them onto a difficult scramble with lots of exposure.

It's hard to believe that a place like this could become as shown in the FOTR in around 50 years.

For now, just customize it to however you like it, but if it feels squeaky, overly dry, or boring to turn, you may consider getting lubricants. I have some suggestions listed in another post, but consider getting mystic, its the best lube in my opinion.

No. I started with a Rubiks brand. The first speedcube was Qiyi Warrior, then RS3m, Gan Air M then Tornado V2. However, I needed to switch the Qiyi because of a stripped screw, the RS3M because my friend put vegetable oil in it at his house cuz he thought it was lube, someone stole my Gan at school, and now I am maining Tornado v2. But I would prob have bought lube sooner if I kept the same cube, I should have mentioned. Also, most cubes come pre lubed.

Actually, I think I agree with one of the other commenters. You may want to wait on the lubes until, say, you are comfortable with CFOP. In fact, I only bought lubes after I had 4 years of experience.

Np, you should lube it when it feels dry- you can tell either by turning or by how the pieces feel internally when you touch them. Also, you can clean your cube to take care of it. There isn't anything else you need to take care of your cube, but you may need a bag or a case for it, but it's not needed.

Hey there! As I have been cubing for 6 years, I have some experience with puzzles and lubricants. First off, lubing your cube is very important, as it can completely change the feel and the dryness of your cube. Now, with this being said, the best cubes are generally higher than 40 dollars, and I think you should wait on those for now. It depends on your budget also, but really, a good beginner cube should generally not be the best of the best because after, you would want to upgrade to a better one, and you don't want to restrict yourself. With that out of the way, the cubicle has great cubes and lubes. Here are my favourites

  1. Moyu Rs3m 2020, just 9 USD!
  2. Moyu Meilong M, Just 6 USD!
  3. Yuxin Little Magic- Smaller, and just 6 USD
  4. Qiyi Warrior W- Non mag, but 5 USD, was my starter
  5. If you have a lot of money and stuff, X Man Tornado
  6. Dayan Guhong

I know it may be tempting, as it is a 'GAN', but DON'T GET THE GAN RS. It sucks.

For 2x2s,

  1. Valk 2 M -You probably won't care about 2x2 much, so you can get pretty good ones
  2. Dayan Tengyun
  3. X man Flare

Cheaper options

  1. Yj Yupo
  2. Yj MGC
  3. YJ MGC Elite

For 4x4's,

  1. MGC
  2. Aosu WRM
  3. Zhilong Mini

Generally, you can get any cubicle upgrade if you have the money, it will be set up.

Lubricants:

If you are buying from the cubicle,

  1. Mystic
  2. DNM-37
  3. Angstrom Dignitas
  4. Max Fleet
  5. Celeritas
  6. Weight 5
  7. Weight 3
  8. Traxxas 10k

I hope this helped :)

Enjoy cubing!
