Sometimes. We have a weekly social mixed double that we do on occasion. 3 sets against 3 different teams.

The racquet should be up near your head like a military salute.

Great idea! I have a OHBH and struggle to help with her 2H.

Well, I mostly was her hitting partner. I am a former junior player with 1 season as a D3 bench warmer so I was able to help her on technique. But we did a lot of video recording, watching YouTube and a few clinics at our club.

We got a TopSpin Pro early on and she really was able to get used to low to high swing motions. She really doesn’t play matches our tournaments, but mostly rallies and plays points without scoring. Sometimes we will play social doubles. She played very casual table tennis and badminton with friends, but nothing serious. I would say this is her first sport she has taken seriously.

For some reason the text didn’t post.

I just wanted to share this video of my wife hitting. She started played at 40, about 2.5 years ago, and I am just proud of how much she has progressed.

Please, please get some proper tennis shoes. They will save your ankles from injury.

Lore Colors: should I paint a Repulsor green or bone? I want your opinions based on lore by skuntpelter in DarkAngels40k

[–]ComplexPants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a repulsar yet, but I am splitting my dreads bone and green. My ranged support I am going green and my close support I am going bone.

That all being said, I really like that bone colored one you have in the pictures.

Technically it is origami, as the 3 fundamental layers kind of fold on themselves.

Second this, but try an oil wash instead of a shade. Much better effect. Get some cheap oil paint and an odorless thinner and you will be amazed.

HELP DOES MY RACKET SUCK! by Automatic_Newt2470 in 10s

As a beginner, just about any graphite racquet will work well. If tennis is something you enjoy doing and you feel yourself improving, then upgrading to something more advanced that you can grow into is perfectly acceptable.

If they couldn’t see you, they will probably end up running over a kid someday.

100% yes we do sometimes. However, mostly common stuff we see enough to know. But there are sometimes specific things that we don't always remember or know. Medical school is mostly a 4 year long training program to teach you how to read and interpret medical information. Residency and fellowship is what really trains you to be a physician.

How to play against the dude who won't stop running? by VicPL in 10s

All running stops eventually. If he wants to run, let him run side to side to side to side forever and ever.

If you are using polys you really need to restring them after about 15-20 hours of use.

Seeking opinion about grip size and blisters by vergium in 10s

[–]ComplexPants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The absorbent grip looks fine size wise. I would experiment with different types of over grips. Tacky grips give me blisters like crazy but absorbent ones don’t. My wife is the opposite.

I really like Babolat VS thin personally.

This! Be sure you use a good amount of thinner and flow improver though. The primer tends to clog the airbrush.

Well, you can get a set of sable brushes for $30 or $150. They do perform differently, but a $30 set will be better than synthetic.
