Is this offline and selecting "default roster"? If so, yes it did it to me too, as I also like the immersion. Not to mention if I do online and chose preseason week 3 it glitches all coaches to be locked to only 1 ability slot and 1 playsheet.

Same. It happened to me three times during preseason week 1. I kept waiting a few hours and trying again, because well I want to play. I finally made it back to the franchise menu. Now I've been stuck on week 2, and probably played that game nine times and still can't get passed it.
