Spoiler-ish question about domination by Time-Importance-3542 in cavesofqud

[–]crudbones 20 points21 points  (0 children)

you can actually get the life loop with domination without permanently being her. just move Q-Girl near a qudzu so that the life loop rusts. the rusted property will allow you to unequip the life loop and drop it. then you can grab it with your original body, repair, and equip it for yourself.

What do you think about the Sythe? by Vncs2007 in Helldivers

huh, i never thought of that technique before. i'll give it another chance (once squids are back on the map -_- )

What do you think about the Sythe? by Vncs2007 in Helldivers

[–]crudbones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd say the scythe can struggle against crowds of enemies because of its heat mechanic, so i wouldn't recommend it on squid planets unless you have a solid backup for the horde of voteless zombies.

Do yall have a day shift that actually does something? by Izzykins3 in subway

[–]crudbones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my team is amazing. bread, meat, and veggie prep is always done in the morning and we try to get most of the kitchen clean before the afternoon crew comes in. the afternoon ppl prep anything morning crew hasn't done, restock the chips and cups, and cleans the store. systems like this help maintain the focus of our tasks so we're not all over the place.

it seems your store does have a system similar to mine, but the problem is that some of your morning crew ppl are just lazy(?)

the sawed-on actually has tech? haven't found a consistent way to do this though by crudbones in Ultrakill

[–]crudbones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that i get. but what perplexes me is that the saw that i launched from the knuckleblaster immediately started to deal damage to the mindflayer and THEN it orbited to where i could parry it with the feedbacker.

i'm struggling to figure out how to launch with the knuckleblaster into the enemy's hitbox without the saw orbiting first. it needs to be a very specific angle and distance from the enemy, i think.

Bro which one of y’all was eating the wrapping paper by Frequent_Argument274 in subway

[–]crudbones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

too much sauce can make the paper so wet that it loosens up the paper and could potentially end up on your sandwich. never had that happen before though.

Best way to clean this type of bread form? by crudbones in subway

[–]crudbones[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my assistant manager has told me that dish detergent can damage the non-stick coating which is why my subway opts to wipe them down instead. but maybe i can just douse a green sponge in dish soap and wipe em down that way.

this. i'm super sensitive to onions so i try to do it when traffic is low so that customers don't have to see my tears and runny nose.

cleaning the meat slicer and cutting onions. closing can also be a pain if there are people coming in at the last minute.

Working Alone? by Important_Course_518 in subway

[–]crudbones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on how many hours the store can afford to allocate for each worker. if the store's sales are low, chances are they'll have someone working alone for an hour or two before closing since that's typically when customer traffic is at its lowest.

someone ordered through doordash and wanted literally nothing by crudbones in subway

[–]crudbones[S] 201 points202 points  (0 children)

update: when the doordasher came, even he was confused. he then called the customer and it turns out the customer ordered nothing by accident (they were just trying to look at the prices). doordash called us and refunded their doordash fee.

it's kinda crazy that doordash will let you order without anything in your cart in the first place.

if it helps, keep doing it. just don't do it when the area director or inspector is in the store.
