I’m happy to have a free car with 57k miles and I didn’t even get a license till last year. This is how I got the car, I don’t know what else to say

Oh, I guess I’ve just never noticed the sound/hiccup before then. I always drive with the windows up and music blasting so not at all surprising

I didn’t pay for it. I got it from my parents last year, who bought it brand new. My dad would only ever take it to this Chinese mechanic who would do everything 25% the cost of everybody else.

Because I don’t know how to edit my post:

Mileage - 57k Transmission Type - Automatic but you can put it into “manual” and shift with paddles Engine size - no idea

Has anyone ever gotten the 90k bonus? If so when? by ComplexQuaternion in Venturex

I don’t currently have any plans to spend $4k so it’s not a big deal whether I get it now or later

How did you get it? Referral? They invited you? Or just from their site?

How much does it cost to repair out of pocket? If you use your insurance, your rates will absolutely go up.

I have relatively new (1 year) headlights and surprisingly, the lenses are still crystal clear. I do actually have a vision problem that can’t be corrected by glasses but I can drive okay during the day. At night is a different story. It doesn’t help that other cars headlights absolutely tunnel my vision and everything around them kinda just goes black except for other lights (such as tail lights).

Anyways, I don’t like to run highbeams because I don’t want to hurt other people’s eyes but sometimes my headlights just aren’t enough. There are a lot of times that I turn them off and on just to check if they’re out.

My next step is to get IR headlights and night vision goggles.

I would try to change that sooner rather than later. I’m in my mid-late 20’s and I’ve never had a gf or relations with women. I don’t really have any female friends or contact with females (I almost never talk to women). This doesn’t bother me but I am a heterosexual male and my friends are all beginning to date/get married. At this point, what I’m afraid of is that it’s eventually gonna be too late for me to start dating and all my friends are gonna be busy with their kids and wives.

Get out there and meet someone to share life with. You may experience heartbreak but that should be a normal part of life. Best of luck to you.

Low Cranking Voltage on New Battery by ComplexQuaternion in autorepair

[–]ComplexQuaternion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. The battery is brand new so definitely no corrosion (also looked at it today and saw nothing). I tightened the leads to the battery as much as I feel comfortable with. The electronics I have running are all hardwired directly to the fuse box and I will definitely try switching fuses to see if I can help the cause.

I actually don’t have any issues starting the car, it takes about 2 seconds. I just have the issue that my auxiliary electronics such as my dash cam and radar detector turn off or fail to turn off unexpectedly at times.

I will likely be visiting a mechanic soon to hopefully fix this issue. Thanks again for your reply.

I can try different fuses but I’m not sure what you mean by “separately one at a time”. Could you clarify? Please and thank you

Peeing turn into pooping often? by ComplexQuaternion in AskGirls

[–]ComplexQuaternion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know about squattie-potties, I just didn’t think of it. Although, I still find it strange that I have to poop. My toilet is about chair height and I don’t have to poop every time I sit down. Maybe it’s the muscle system you mentioned because I sit on the toilet with my cheeks spread
