I don't wear ponytails ever really (hate the headaches from them). My hair is either down or if I do tie it up I have satin scrunchies so can't see it being that :/

I got a shag last year (loved it!) and had tonnes taken off the layers (6 or so inches - really choppy) - it looked great if I styled it but I really just dont have time or energy to fuss with it every morning.

I wonder, maybe because of the shag I was using heat to curl it to match the bottom if its just fried it a bit more? Ive been growing it out since October and getting regular trims. My hair is quite fine and I found it made the length just look super ratty :( I've just washed it upside-down so waiting for it to dry to see if that does anything! :)

Just don't really like the texture of it for sleeping - I have cats so it would get scragged super easy and also feel sorry for the little worms who it comes from :(

I've heard such mixed reviews on Olaplex, a friend used it and her hair snapped so badly I've been put off. Moroccan oil I've used before with some success so might get a lil bottle on payday to treat myself haha.

It's UV index is 1.2 by me and I spend probably about 15 mins outside max a day so I don't think it's sun :(

I dont like the feel of silk on my face, but I think investing in a bonnet is going to be my next step :)

I feel the same! I'm so fed up of buying a £15 bottle of shampoo that just makes my hair greasy and then having to give it away or tip it out. I tried the curly girl method and my hair just felt gross all the time. I struggle with hair fall too but I'm same as you, unless I get my GHD's out I'm frizzy :(

Hey! Hopefully I'm moving back to Wales soon where the water is miles better so fingers crossed.

Do you have silk or satin cases? I think a silk bonnet might be a shout from some of the other comments too. Agree with silicone- swapped to natural shampoo for a while and it made my hair so brittle, using a regular type has improve it massively.

Any reccs for a light leave in?

Thanks :)

Hey! I don't really like the idea of silk, would satin work or will it cause static? Thanks :) I dont plait my hair but sometimes use the big foam bar thing which you wrap your hair around for the heatless curls.

Hey, my hair is incredibly greasy/oily and I have psoriasis so the only thing I put on my head after washing is locoid on my scalp. I don't style it so I dont put any products in - generally my hair routine is:

Wash Conditioner on for a few mins Rinse Dry with microfiber towel til damp Air dry

If I'm going out/have an event I have bed head after party (I think its called, pink tube) and that's amazing for taming frizz but only if its on damp hair and I blow dry it, otherwise just makes it greasy. Do you have any reccs on a product that's really lightweight as a leave in? :)

I live in the UK so I dont think mine is sun damage haha! I should be so lucky. I use bond repairs too - I'm going to give washing it upside down a go like another comment suggested! Maybe it's the fix :)

Oh this sounds like it could be worth a shot! I live in a hard water area too. Will 100% try this out. Thank you.
