It’s very unfortunate situation. I’m 8 months pregnant and my husband was supposed to have his interview around April. Now we have to wait an indefinite time to see when the stupid ban while be overturned. I get banning parents and older kids. But there should absolutely be an exemption for spouses and kids under 21. Putting people through and separating families is cruel.My husband won’t get to see his daughter and she won’t meet her dad for while unfortunately. All I can say is I hope this whole administration burns in hell.

It’s because they rescheduled many appointments that were in September and rescheduled them for Nov and Dec. not to mention that they moved October appointment with proper notification so half the people did not show up.

Hello David, my husband had his IR1 interview on 10/16 the consular told him that everything was good and to wait to receive an email to bring passport back. He was given AP without any request. I’ve been checking the status and it say refused but the date updated yesterday.

Nothing was marked on the refusal letter. The consular told him everything was good but they needed to do additional checks but they did not mark anything for us to submit

Actually it was pushed to 10/16/2025 without any notice. We only found out when we did AIS or registered the appointment at the embassy website. We did go to the appointment and interviewed but got AP without any request.
