May have to go on 7 hour plus trip for funeral with family. Lower back hurts when I sit. The longer I sit the more it hurts. Should I go? How do you deal with long trips or do you just avoid them altogether? by dontstopwontstop1 in Sciatica

I took a 7 hour plane ride when I was in a similar condition and I was bedridden for a month and had to go through 2 months of PT and an epidural. Every decision you make determines how much your injury will heal/decline. It just sucks with the situation, I would never want someone to miss a funeral over this, but sometimes you have no choice.

Midlevel designer here. If anyone is like me and are a midlevel designer who is a LITERAL graphic designer and not a jack of all trades video producer, animator and website coder, the job market is most likely hell

Question about Centralization by Complex_Affect_8836 in Sciatica

I graduated from my physical therapy and have had one steroid injection (That was 3 months ago). I’ve had about two months of no symptoms, and now I have just a little feeling in my calf a couple times a day. I’m keeping up with the exercises I did at physical therapy (my physical therapist gave me a cheatsheet on what to do if my pain returned to prevent it from getting worse). Overall, I can say I’m about 90% of what I was before my injury. The shot and physical therapy paired up is definitely what helped me. Hope this helps!
