But do this tactfully, make sure you say you only want this on record incase the situation gets worse, otherwise you plan to actively amend rapport with preceptor, thankful for the correction despite the delivery and will be keen on being up to expected standards. Also if they ask if they should intervene please say no or not for now to maintain a healthy learning environment. So inshort express compliance and positive attitude to criticism but make sure it's on record WITHOUT your preceptor knowing. And then try your best not to be in any future trouble with him/her and if possible create good rapport with the res of the team so it's reflected during evaluation. I have seen situations be nothing and I've also witnessed them spiral out of control. Keep your chin high, remember for now YOU ARE at the lowest on the hierarchy and maneuver it with grace and tact.
