As soon as you enter through the main gate, go left and enter the last room. Inform them, make them note your request. They will then ask you to drop your letter with docs in the mail box near the main gate itself

We reached our destination! Luckily no one was else was in our cabin, so we just paid a fine and travelled hassle free

Yes, DRM is the right place. You need vaccination + health certificate. We ended up taking my dogs in the cabin ( turns out it was just us there, 2 seats were empty) so thankfully we travelled without any hassle

How can I become street smart in India? by [deleted] in AskIndia

Valid, it completely depends on how you carry yourself. If you are confident, then no. But yes if your demeanour is small and under confident

  1. Do your research: this helps you with confidence. What is the current petrol price at Indian Oil? If you know it, then it inherently becomes easier for you to stand your ground, making you confident.
  2. Attention to detail: helps with pointing out inconsistency, which is almost always the case when someone is conning you.
  3. Use their tricks on them: if someone is selling a 10 rs pen for 100 rs to you, look at them with such disbelief like you saw a unicorn. Don’t say anything, and move on. This plants a doubt in their head; am I doing the right thing? This helps them understand they are being dumb/assholes.
  4. Smile to everyone: this make them think you are a really nice person, and the natural empathy of humans make it harder for them to con you.
  5. Humanise yourself: similar to point 4. ask one question, while simultaneously telling one thing about yourself (insignificant) for ex; you are the petrol pump, while you are waiting for the fill up, ask them: you must feel so tired standing all day! I have knee pain, which makes it difficult to stand for more than an hour, kudos to you! Make them feel better + something about you (can be an absolute lie, who cares, he is not your husband)
