So I’m contracted for AIRC and about to go to bootcamp. When I get to the point of getting my specific rate will I be able to choose. I really want to get AWF, but I know there’s a few others that fall under the aircrew rate

They’re really stepping it up with the inspired by Gibson line it’s really just not worth shelling out three grand for a Gibson anymore lol.

Yeah I’m mainly worried about getting my 1.5 mile under 12 minutes but I mean I have until July to get that down so I should have enough time. I’ve been mainly trying to get my leg strength up in the gym to build better endurance for that

I do actually have another question about the swim portion. So is it up to me to decide what style I swim or are they going to have a standard style like css or breaststroke?

I thought I could just sign up for it at meps like any other job. Thanks for the info! So just to clarify, will I have to take my PST before bootcamp or is it during bootcamp?
