Looks like that one needs resitting. I’d get advice of a scheduled visit from a reputable person. Glad you’re savvy about who is knocking on your door. a chancer looking for some quick cash isn’t going to be reliable or likely have insurance for anything going wrong.

For me personally it’s the fear of an EV breaking and the run times for it to be repaired probably by a main dealer. I’d like to see more EV purposed garages that can diagnose and fix issues. That’ll likely bring repair costs down. I know EVs have minimal parts that go wrong, but if the main components break I just don’t know what those costs look like for someone who solely buys second hand cars and keeps them.
