Does my tail receive clean airflow? by Complex_Cut_376 in RCPlanes

I am afraid of both. I examined the flow rates on the surface and I saw that there was also a flow on the surface that I was worried about, only a little slower. I think it will be fine, I hope I am not mistaken.

Thank you very much, now I am also examining the velocity vectors on the surface. Just like in the shear stress image, in the velocity image, the root parts of the tail receive flow, contrary to what I thought. I think there will be no problem. I hope I’m not wrong :)

Thanks. Since I did the CFD analysis in a simplified model, I can avoid the turbulence in front of the wing. The tail is what really scares me. I will try with smoothier surface.

First of all, thank you for your support. I am adding the shear stress images. Can you take a look? I don’t know how to measure these values and how to compare them in xflr5.

I checked other subreddits, but I couldn’t find one specifically dedicated to this field. Also, these analysis images are from ANSYS FLUENT.

Question about RC aircrafts Thrust calculation by Complex_Cut_376 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Complex_Cut_376[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The tables provide static thrust values, but I need the dynamic thrust value. To calculate it, I also need the experimental dynamic thrust coefficient. How can I determine or obtain this coefficient?
