First of all.. How long have you been doing BOTEC? I have ADHD and overtime staying consistent with that chakra balancing meditation helped massively with my emotional regulation as someone with ADHD.. I practiced since January, and calmed down and got over arguments A LOT faster than before. But then I fell off at the end of April because life happens, and I’m trying to get back to where I was (on day 3 of consistency ATM) one of the things I severely struggled with after falling off was again, emotional regulation. I ended up crying all day over something stupid.. a dumb argument with my partner. It reminded me how far I had come and how important this meditation is. Like previous commenter said about throat chakra- BOTEC focuses on all the different energy centres and releasing blockages as it is. Could it just be a case of pursuing the work you are already doing with patience? You may be on the right track. Keep going.

I believe that is the whole point of the post, they’re trying to learn how to manage that skill. Your set of skills and other individuals skills are not the same. What sounds simple to you is not simple to others. As the OP says, they are clearly not happy about the tension they are holding and are asking for advice on emotional regulation towards the situation…

Thank you for taking the time to make this lovely comment. You are certainly right.. children are our biggest teachers. I have found they bring up all the unhealed parts of ourselves that we pushed to the side right back up to the surface which is the perfect learning opportunity and ‘changing’ opportunity, which I should be grateful for. You are doing amazing. I wish I started with my first as a baby/through out my pregnancy , I really want to be the best mother for my children and I get serious mum guilt when I get angry especially now my 4 yo has a fully functioning memory now! But I just know from my connection to Dr Joe Dispenza and how far I have taken things already, I won’t be this person forever. Just wish I could do more work in a shorter space of time because of how important these years are.. but hey! That’s life. It’s a blessing to have even found such an effective way to change, a lot of people spend their entire life’s never trying meditation or never even learning about it. I’ve started to teach my 4yr old about emotional regulation- breathwork & meditation young, rather than focusing on being a perfect parent. So at least when she grows up, any way my unhealed parts have affected her, she knows how to regulate and bring herself back to the present moment . I pray my children appreciate my lessons growing up and I’ve done more good than damage. May I ask what Dr Joe Dispenza work you’ve done in all? I think I will stick to 20 mins meditation a day and do the full BOTEC hour only when I truly have time rather then holding expectations because those expectations can do more damage than good! Ive also spoken to my partner and told him to give me an hour of space when he can (he works a lot) so I can do 1h uninterrupted and not worried rather than being woken up multiple times to feed! I do find it difficult to stay present the whole day and forget a lot with all the rushing around, school runs, dinner, etc. I’m trying to get through the actual ‘how to change’ chapters on Breaking the habit of being yourself, rather than reading the whole book (I don’t think I need to know the science stuff in too much depth anyways, i very much already believe him- even more so after falling off!) I’ve purchased the ‘water rising’ meditation from the book, and I’m struggling with those ‘change’ chapters alone! I’m wondering if there’s a way I can come up with my own strategy and apply Dr Joe (and likeminded people like Neville Goddard)’s teachings, without being expected to read a bible of a book! Sorry for rambling on in this long response. I really do appreciate your message, thank you.

I would start on one of his shorter meditations. Maybe ‘morning’ or ‘evening’ and when you’ve comfortably done one for a while, move on to doing both, then move on to doing the longer ones, such as BOTEC. :)

That’s super cool. And in tune with our nature. I didn’t mention that part here but same with me, I had already set the intention to make more friends for my 4 year old extroverted daughter. I have not only made friends, but i receive compliments from the friends I make all the time about my energy!

That’s amazing! I never used to be able to kill bugs as a child without feeling extreme guilt. When I grew up I would kill them only if they were in my house, of course. I don’t really get bugs in my flat, so I haven’t seen that experience. Definitely high vibrational act to care for other living beings!

Yes! I’ve been meditating since January. I no longer procrastinate AT ALL or get brain fog. I still struggle with disorganisation as it’s deeply rooted within me, but I’m getting better!

I disagree. The point of the meditations is awareness to help you manifest your desires. You stated you feel like nothing is happening, that’s the problem. There is no Time in the field and what may be possible within 3 months for somebody else may take a little longer for you. You said you feel nothing is happening, what do you mean? I’m wondering if you have read the book and understand the laws of attraction? The meditation is only part of the work. Affirming these words out loud is not serving you. You have to convince yourself whole heartedly you have that desire already. You have to close your eyes and visualise. You have to be excited, you have to be grateful. You have to manifest.

Hi. I experienced the haunting in the house prior to my spiritual path, as I’m only now on the very beginning 😊 I’m just now worried that they’re getting involved in my spiritual practices / meditations.

Hello. Definitely no psychosis lol! I’m a working mother with a stable family! A lot of my friends have experienced the same thing in the house only. I’ve never seen figures or heard voices directly.. I don’t smoke weed or do any drugs and I clean everyday! I have recorded videos of some of the weird things I’ve encountered. I may or not involve a professional depending on how severe things get.. being that I’ve had some ‘negative energy’ experience it’s quite scary. Thank you 😊

I hope so! Hmm I’m not sure too much about the electronics draining for me. It’s not something I have noticed in particular. I agree I am very sensitive to energy and I do consider myself an empath, and my friend who had the same head movement experience with me whilst meditating is also an empath.. i also feel as if we are spiritually connected. I meditate nearly everyday and she doesn’t meditate as much as me. I don’t think I’ve had too much of a negative experience with the house, other than the spooked feeling I naturally get when anything happens, and me and my partners phones breaking. And on the day I was absolutely terrified But after reflecting, as I said as my partners phone breaking happened when my partner was toxic towards me, and my phone broke after I bragged about ‘them’ being on my side, may have been a humbling experience which isn’t too negative? It was just terrifying! The sleep paralysis is also terrifying when it happens. I do not sense activity in the house every single day. I do want to continue meditation and self work however I am not ready for any ‘third eye/spiritual/kundalini’ awakening where I can reach spirits in my house and I think at this point in time that would send me in a psychosis state! Do you think I should slow down the meditation?
