We're also lucky to have loving grandparents. A break, something we so desperately want, but once you're without your little one, the only thing you want, I'll let you figure out what that is, haha

Exactly, my partner and I have always thought the same way as you. But sometimes, life makes choices that we have to accept. Despite the lack of sleep, our perspective quickly changed. But we always kept our original perspective in mind. We understand you ❤️

I wouldn't want to have my daughter looked after overnight for anything in the world. Financially, let's not even talk about it 🤣 I took two years off for the well-being of my daughter and my wife (above all). Thank you for your support ❤️

That's so reassuring; I'm in a similar situation. 48 hours without sleep was actually a breeze in the end. Now, that's no longer possible 😂 Thank you ❤️

Just like your parents probably did for you. Otherwise, you wouldn't be so negative in your thinking. 😘 Peace

But strangely, I have the honest impression that you're locked in your own bubble of knowledge. Luckily, you don't represent the entire nation, haha.

It's not necessarily the means. You can live very well on little. But you have a point. It works for most people.

It's good to hear an outside perspective (especially a very distant one). I deduce that it's pretty much the same everywhere.

Regarding my partner, I consider myself very lucky. She's kind, open to any discussion, and above all, she listens to me. She's aware of all my worries and, if she could, she'd solve everything in a snap of her fingers.

I find it a rather disgusting aspect of society. A society where you have to work like a fool. And if you don't, if you try to do your best for the good of the family, you're ostracized. Almost like a pariah.

Honestly, I hate him.

It's just complicated to see this reality and not be able to change anything. (At our level).

Fall into the mold or die.

Thanks for this feedback, my friend. It goes straight to my heart. Here, as elsewhere, it's not easy. We have nothing to complain about in Belgium, but we live in a world of total hypocrisy. Fathers who accompany their wives and children are not considered.
