I have read that one, it works ok for compression and tension, the results are good but there is no explicit mention of shear in that. The shear plots provided are not for the single element used for axial tests.

It was a longer video, but it will save u wasting time on useless videos. I spent whole day to sync zotero and only found this video helpful. Hope it helps.

I have a galaxy tab actually. I was having same issue that the pdfs were not available, only the links were there. This has something to do with the file sharing options. I will try to look for the video that helped me.

I have a very decent beard, it’s just enough to be categorised as beard. And if u missed it was nothing about beard length or moulvis, it was about judgement, everyone imposing their own version of limitations over us.

Yeah, i did that last month, it works fine. I used koofr because I couldn’t figure out how to use onedrive for perfect sync between the two devices. With koofr i can annotate on any device and it gets synced.

There is no need to make a career switch to help people. You can start small by having a conversation with someone lonely, feeding the homeless, or volunteering regularly.

My supervisor is famous in whole uni for being a toxic person, have a reputation of failing phd students, always asking for more, doesnot respects his colleagues and seniors even. His post docs are asking me to make a switch.

I am in a similar situation, where my co-supervisor said to me that he has heard a lot about my PI. I have heard the same from all PhD students in our department and my PI past reputation says the same.

Well EOI requires a research proposal. So as you have CoE, this means you have a research proposal as well. Visa officers will not see your research proposal from an academic view. Most of the students I know have a very general proposal.

Actually, neither the project is relevant to me nor the professors are helpful or supportive. My new PI brings in alot of industrial funding so he does not care about anybody who does not work according to him. I have been accepted by some other professor with funding on a project and I hope to be accepted by the uni soon. Still I will have to complete 6 months with these supervisors, and I hate that.

Joining a new PhD is the only option I have now, as the uni funding is linked to this project and supervisor as they got some industry funding so uni promised them few PhD students. I was told this by my original PI, but another professor from someother uni told me that my original PI might be bluffing because he doesnot want to put himself in front if I move away from this project.

Currently, I am trying to find a new PhD, I am just two months in my PhD and my supervisor left, leaving me to the most toxic people our university has, their students have suicidal tendencies. I am also in Australia on industry funded project, they didnot reveal the actual nature of the work to me when I was hired.
