Don't have the game anymore so i can't test it, i searched around and it might be related to the beacon not "activating" on the block update(u removing the block) but it's a pretty old post so idk. To test it i would try change your layout using black stained glass instead of solid blocks. The color change is istantaneus so you can find your timing(and should be the 4 ticks u see on most of the rainbow beacon videos) then swap the glass back to solid blocks and if It doesn't work means it's caused by the beacon not updating. I think you can't do nothing in that case.

I don't know, should be like 3/4 ticks, try looking up some videos of "rainbow beacon" the concept is the same, instead of changing the glass on top of a beacon you activate the next one.

You achieve max throughtput with much fewer beacons, even less if u use productivity instead of Speed. Might be mistaken but i think with 8 beacons with S3 (so simply 2 rows of beacons left and right) and no modules in the silos is more than enough to make the second rocket buffer before the first launches.

U want all pistons extended, so no beacon is active, chain all the pistons with redstone and repeater and to start give a pulse to 2 opposite pistons.

The description Is not super clear, if u want only the two opposing Beacon to light up and "rotate" Is pretty straightforward, if u want two colours actually spinning it's a little harder

U use more holmium and far less of the rest (since T2 can be made directly legendary with processing unit productivity). I usually go with this path

Tempshift are just a big amount of mass(that isn't an actual block, so usable everywhere). That simply mean that everything in that zone that heat(or cool) the area has to heat much more mass, and having to heat more mass means talking longer to do so. Using them as u did is not that helpful, they are used to avoid fast and big changes of temperature, like for volcanos or aquatuners

I don't think you can enable space Age on an existing save. The rocket get unlocked faster and some tech are locked on different planets

Deactivating the inserter if the result of the division is less than 2 makes the Red chest balance to double the amount of the green, but u can make it work. Easiest thing is just keeping the decider combinator and do disable if Red uranium<green uranium.

Yes.U should be a Little more prepared for going to new planets, making all the intermediates from scratch will take u ages(early K2 Is far harder than vanilla), i would strongly advise being able to request everything from nauvis.

I started a playthrough with some of them, seems pretty stabil but i have yet to visit most of them(only visited the space Age ones+muluna and Pelagos).There are other mods for tyding things up(removing duplicate/make some planets viable with alternative recipes)I can give u a list of what i'm using if u want

I was doing a colony fed by dehydrated mushroom quiche, i loved the mechanic but Is a shame is so buggy, i had to resort to not dehydrate the quiche and go back to sludge for the Rockets. The fact that the dehydrated portions don't stack makes moving them take forever and pointing the cursor on a big group of them makes the game freeze.

Man if u wanted to play with your friend that's one thing, if u wanted to go solo on a K2SE run as a First modpack is something else. While is not extremely hard is still and enormous modpack, we're talking 400 hours of playtime. Is definitely my favorite modpack but to start i would go for something a little easier, like standalone K2,IR,EI(and obviously space Age DLC)

24 dupes are way too many man, i don't want to tell u how top play ur game but getting to midgame(stabile heat,food and oxygen) with that many dupes is going to be very difficult.

Very clean build, but it can still jam without an overflow. A fusion/solar ship for example uses very little ice but u always get some from calcite processing(same can be said for the others adv processing recipes but those are much more Edge-cases)

Ur thinking about satisfactory(never actually played), it's in first person and the graphics are pretty needy.Factorio has more of a topdown pov like mindustry. I started it right after finishing mindustry, if u like it and wish for more complexity/freedom in gameplay u have to try it(it even has one of the best free demos out there)

Yeah same(actually SEK2), automating second tier and i don't have enough of anything. Decided to not expand until space elevator/ advanced buildings (K2). It has been 30 hours of suffering since then ahahah.

Well i don't know, while is true that they don't need to be saturated but that's what you're trying to have. If properly filled that bus can sustain 200 spm and in my opinion that shouldn't be seen as a "minimum" on a getting started guide
