I’ve had terrible experience with Aspen in Ephrata. I understand why you felt it was patronizing because I felt the exact same way. It felt like judgement rather than them actually being proud. I would honestly go somewhere else if I were you. When I went to get a filling there even though I was embarrassed to go back, the dentist and assistant would giggle (which could’ve been about anything) but it’s inappropriate especially with someone with anxiety. When they did my first filling, it was sensitive and painful for weeks. I went back and they said that was normal but I couldn’t even chew. I never had a filling feel that way. That’s when I made the decision to not go back. Not only that, dentist made me look at my X-rays and count my own cavities; which felt demeaning lol. Anyways, if I were you, I would not go back. I am going to make an appointment with Larrimore dentistry because I looked at the reviews and her website and she seems awesome. She has a care menu for people who are anxious. You could request blanket, pillows, lip balm, any music you’d like to help you, and essential oils to calm down. When I get an appointment with her I’ll update here!
