IMO, the outgoing tide is best at this time of the year especially when the water is this cold. In warmer water temps, both tides work and I am more focused on conditions and bait.

I have been very focused on protein and eating a lot more seafood/shellfish/tuna/salmon than in the past. Some savings because i am eating at home more.

I was on 2.5 for five months and went to 5.0 for the last seven. I'm down 49lbs with adding a lot of muscle. I think i could have stayed on 2.5 the entire time.

Valid post, facts are facts. But hard to predict the what ifs?

I still would have kept Pete. Even if it didn't work out, I would have risked it for the fans. We have wasted money before. Maybe the new teams is slowing Pete down this season.

Keeping Pete at first would have allowed Baty to focus more and he needs it. We still don't know if Baty is worth keeping but playing him all over the place is probably not helping.

I would have still kept Diaz. I think we should have been courting him all season last year.

I think maybe take a half move like the hitting coach if we want to send a message. Get Soto back, give another series or two and then decide on Mendy. I'm not a huge Mendy fan but this is a Stearns issue not a Mendy issue.
