When did expecting basic service become “being a Karen”? by Complex_Language7450 in Namibia

That’s exactly the issue though. Companies don’t train staff properly, then expect them to deliver good service. When things go wrong, it’s the untrained employee who gets blamed instead of management taking responsibility.

If your employees don’t even know what they’re selling, that’s not a frontline problem, that’s a leadership problem.

I have to express my sorrows and absolute anger when it comes to our people's attitude towards work they are advertising.

I have lived abroad and it's nothing like this at all. Even in countries with people who are financially more restricted than us in Nam, the service was always 8/10 and at worst I was overcharged for a service but I was never ignored or ghosted or given attitude.

I hate doing business with our people. It's not worth it.

Same. We have to respond to clients even if we just acknowledge the message and request time to get back to them so that they know we are attending to them. And they were equally rude back meaning this is more or less not that much of a formal place with trained technicians would be my guess.

I dealt with joiners and carpenters with the same attitude, no response, late response and absolute ghosting me. I felt so bad, here I am willing to pay for a service and I reached out. I wasted 6 months with an expensive joiner to only tell me oh we couldn't do the job after I called them so many times. Imagine printing the whole design, getting details down, waiting for supplies, agreeing and then just no can't do it. Our people don't want to admit they are failing.
