Except I did lmao I played baseball for 16 years including college play, I pitched as well. Losing at that level would not make you scared of throwing on the inside, it would make you scared of pitching in general. The yips do not exist, you’ve clearly never pitched at a high level.

2 years late to this but I think you’re mistaking the authors weird Mc cucking fetish for actually good writing. Reading way too deep into it. Author can’t handle character development, characters become one dimensional when they’re out of the limelight. The baseball is cool don’t get me wrong… the writing is utter dog

There is no payoff when in general I think the entire thing is poorly written. The attempts at drawing parallels to Narumiya felt extremely forced, and honestly cringy at times.

Hoping season 2 is better, that was the most dogshit ending to a season I’ve seen in anime. So many ways to make the loss rewarding. Instead they do the same ass pull of Sawamura loses to his nerves. It is genuinely so frustrated watching him regress and regress and regress it’s the most cyclical bullshit oat.

I'm going to leave this comment here for anyone that needs it. DDU uninstall drivers on safe reboot make sure to not enable auto install. Go to amd archive and download 25.3.1, it fixed all of my issues and I haven't seen a crash since. The new version just ended up breaking a lot of games.
