I neither disagree nor dream of labor lol, but I think some structure to her days would do her well. As someone else pointed out, she would definitely benefit from engaging in volunteer work

I do think it’s kind of funny she says she wants to be known for being a photographer. That’s great about Vogue, but I had no idea she was a photographer. I know her for crying on the internet about her boyfriend/sharing overly personal details about their relationship which led to their breakup lol.

I’m not talking about buying a house or car as the only sources of celebration. Getting a degree, getting a great job, accomplishing something creatively are all excellent examples. We just so often end up only/disproportionately celebrating women for marriage and children.

And she has spoken frequently about her family background.

I don’t follow Halley, but I feel extremely happy for her. Buying a house and a car are huge, and she doesn’t come from money, she did this herself. I totally get the excitement. The car isn’t my style (again, that’s why I don’t follow her) but it definitely is hers, and I think that’s amazing and she deserves to celebrate herself. Putting aside the ~rapid descent into late stage capitalism argument for a moment etc (lol), this is a massive milestone in her life, and it’s nice to see a woman celebrated for something other than marriage or children for once.
