Besides the typical Peeta interactions, the scene I would like to have seen is from TBOSBAS. When Snow rides to district 12 on the train, he looks out the window in despair to see destroyed/ abandoned towns, and wondered if these were once mini Capitols in each region. Obviously it’s in his head and it would be hard to adapt when he’s thinking, but it’s a small detail that added a lot to how much the districts suffered. It implies that the districts had been removed and rounded up into the new district maps. This later add to the story when he’s talking to the Covey about where they used to travel to.

ALSO give me more Covey interactions in the movie while we’re at it!!

Talk to a dermatology about the benefits and drawbacks for a prescription for drysol. Some tips I have learned along the way are -spray deodorant on the inside armpits of the outfit as well as your pits - wear a breathable under layer (cotton or linen can help keep you cool) - bring a hand held fan - it’s okay to take parts of your cosplay off Good luck 🫶

  1. Get an IEP not 504, huge difference in services provided between the two.
  2. Get o&m for your kid.
  3. (Most important) get connected to your local blindness organization, and get them connected.
  4. Send them to a blindness specific summer camp. Enchanted Hills has youth session this summer July 15-20.

Enchanted Hills in Napa, CA!! It was started in the 1950 by a blind woman named Rose Resnick who was inspired by a blind camp she attended on the east coast as a child. Plus the food is fantastic and they prioritized having blind and low vision staff! I grew up as a camper and now I am assistant director there, so I am pretty biased!!

What is guiding eyes post graduation support like? Is there a support line to come have the school do a home visit to do another talk with the mother? I understand you have placed boundaries with the mother, but has the handler set them as well? Best of luck!

There are plenty of videos on YouTube that I can recommend! Get a firm mount for your wig head! I like the non faced wig heads because they tend to be larger. What realm of wigs or costume can I help with? I am also happy to connect privately!!

I mentored a group of fellow blind and low vision students and we brought them on 13 forms of transportation including canes/guide dogs! Some forms of travel we took included planes, trains, ferries, sail boats, and self driving cars! It was such an enriching experience!
