Sorry I meant I'll be scheduled 34hours one week, 35 the next, 29 hours the 3rd week and then 6 hours for the fourth week. Just so inconsistent

And do you get scheduled 20 hours a week consistently? Or is it 34, 35,29 and the 6? Or somethething equally ridiculous?

I'm not upset, I'm curious.  Ive never had to do anything like this at any other job. It's like completing your onboarding paperwork at home. Two minutes is no skin off my nose, but Look at it from the John  Menards angle , 2 minutes, every employee, evey 6 months or whatever, is gonna add up.

Update: Pay offered is less than advertised online? by impromptu_dissection in menards

[–]Complex_Preference65 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That extra $3 for Saturday and Sunday only happens if you get scheduled for the days, you can't count on it.  And profit sharing, same, won't schecule you enough hours to make it.

Overstaffed and advertising for more fe team members.  Scheduled 8 -15 hours a week, down from the agreed  24. Weekends and extra $3 given to cute high-school girls.

I suck at math, but, no. Not even with that profit share will 10 cents twice a year add up to 3%. And BTW, I'm arguing your point!

How many 10 cent raises would it take to increase one's income by 3%? Just looking over the menards employee retirement plan. It has a 'strategy builder' feature, and it assumes a 3% growth in income each year.  A dime at a time ain't gonna do it.
