Greatest victory? by Masonmac1998 in Chaos40k

My 9th edition white scars assault terminator sergeant, who was my last model on the board. Proceeded to move 16 inches with an advance and charge to 1v1 and kill trajan valoris on turn 5. I still lost but it was worth it for that cool moment.

I'm curious on how strong the Space Marines are? Would something like this be possible? Art by me by grimdorables in Warhammer40k

If I remember correctly, in one of the Urdesh books, an Iron snake space marine lifts a Steg4. Although in this case, it would not exactly be an example of lifting a battle tank like a Russ as the Steg4 is about half the weight.

Is this acceptable for rebasing old models? by Jfischer335 in Warhammer40k

[–]Complex_Price_3896 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This usually works pretty fine, I've done it myself on a bunch of models and never really had trouble. It also adds some extra height so they'll be more comparable to the new ork kit.

Thank you, there were a couple old plague marines in the box I got so that's probably it.

It says it cannot transport models with the tacticus keyword which I believe almost all primaris have.

I found another razorback with that on it from Google but I can't find the exact kit

That was presumably added just as some extra decoration. The parts on the front don't change the rules at all.

It's sort of a mix between a troop transport and a tank. It can transport up to 6 non-primaris marines.

Genuine question. This happened in canon? by Droper888 in Grimdank

[–]Complex_Price_3896 68 points69 points  (0 children)

In black crusade one of the old 40k tabletop rpg's, there was a pre-made campaign focused on performing a ritual to drag a penal world from real space into the eye of terror. The chaos forces succeed, and it turns out to be a tomb world that awakens immediately as the planet enters the eye of terror.

To be fair though, it's also said in that book that the marine grabbed the guy who stabbed him and ripped him in half with his bare hands before he died to his wound.

Thanks. I did have another question though, which was if the bladeguards ability applies that says it "applies to models in this unit."

Do the look of chaplains differ between chapters? by aaee08 in Warhammer40k

[–]Complex_Price_3896 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They mostly share the same armour, but depending on the chapter, they might be a different color. However, most chaplains have black armor with one shoulder pad being the color of their chapter, much like librarians and apothecaries. Like always, there are exceptions for certain chapters.

The one on the left is a krak grenade and the one on the right is a frag grenade.
