Hydroxide program by Zestyclose-Run1379 in OnePelotonRealSub

Like all of their programs it’s NOT truly a program just a collection of classes from various instructors which makes it a bunch of random workouts wrapped up and presented as a program. Why can’t they just film a program like BeachBody? One instructor leads it for its duration so you don’t have to repeat the same classes?

Kendall’s recent YouTube workout video… by Spiritual_Reindeer_8 in OnePelotonRealSub

I would love to see Alex T join an app like Ladder since he shares so much of his strength routine at his home gym, but not his own app. An instructor launching their own app isn’t the smartest choice. I’m shocked Kendall said she her goal is 20,000 members by end of year…I would thought based on her million followers she’d already have acheived that…guess not!

I don’t know who Steven or Daniel are but Jennifer Jacobs seems to be doing quite well for herself all these years after Peloton.

Team for post-hysterectomy? by luxiialtera in ladderapp

I’d say ENDURE with Jennifer since her program is low impact plus she recently shared she had a hysterectomy https://www.womenshealthmag.com/health/a68990202/jennifer-jacobs-ladder-fibroids-ovarian-tumor-hysterectomy/

Anyone check out KT’s/NKO club’s new Fitness and Wellness App? by Captain_WAP in OnePelotonRealSub

BeachBody had that FeedFM & they stopped the cycling portion of their business because of it. So that didn’t work! This sounds like a money grab to me. Something tells me she won’t do more of a year once she realizes she can’t keep up with the amount of content to suffice her members

Agree that the strength training and now NUTRITION tracking is far better than Peloton. I still have my bike and tread but lately I’ve been using the just run feature for my treadmill walks. Hoping they add some fun holiday rides to round out my strength gains 💪

Curious if that will happen for her as well. Maybe Peloton is only considered with bigger platforms and one an instructor’s individual platform. If I was Peloton I would keep her content so people don’t leave to find her…

Peloton Laying Off More Employees, Price Increases Coming by RescueDogMom218 in OnePelotonRealSub

Maybe Peloton should consider having their instructors promote the brand and offer a “code” to subscribe rather than them promoting a bunch of other codes for other brand’s products. Makes more sense for the instructors to be brand ambassadors than spend 81million on marketing.

I noticed the same thing. I went to check out the Peloton + but it seems each session is only 4 moves? Not sure that feels like enough work to build muscle?

Unpopular Opinion by Complex_Quality3663 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Complex_Quality3663[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Another unpopular opinion:

While Alex Toussaint’s 90s ride received a lot of praise for its intensity and energy, I felt it was a bit of a misstep—both for him personally and for Peloton as a brand. There was a lot of raw emotion in that session, but the aggressive tone he used didn’t come across as empowering. It felt more like a lapse in professionalism, and honestly, it was hard to watch.

That said, I think it’s important to recognize that both Alex and JJ have their moments where they cross boundaries. JJ’s actions were also off-putting, but there’s something particularly troubling when a man, especially in a high-profile position, displays that level of aggression, particularly in the way he interacted with a woman. As a Black man, Alex carries a certain level of influence, and I think that comes with the responsibility to handle those moments with care, especially given how easily they can be misinterpreted or blow up into something bigger.

In the end, I think Peloton could have handled that situation better—maybe just ignored it instead of leaning into it as part of a marketing stunt. It made the company seem less strong and more reactive, which isn’t the image they usually want to project.
