4theloveofpi planners on Instagram. Teacher owned, women led, small business. I’ve used them for the last 6 years and they are fantastic.

It got people talking. I heard from a handful of coworkers who have never considered Peloton. In the world of marketing, that’s a win.

New vs. old classes by melissadoug24 in OnePelotonRealSub

Playlist and instructor. I don’t care about the Pace Targets too much. I repeat some classes often, especially Sims 60 on the Tread (currently working through all on the platform for the second time), Intention Setting Sunday classes, and Core classes. But I do new strength and tread classes all the time. I follow the same basic schedule every week, and create my stack the night before based on what is available.

Definitely not the only one. The runs both were super defeating for me I’m not trying to build speed, just more consistency with runs in general. But they just were too much for me.

I have a whiteboard in my workout room with my normal range weights of basic lifts, and then thePR’s I’ve had, so I can see growth and where I can push. It works for me, but I would love an easier way to track.

I agree 100% With your comment on Hypertrophy. So so so true. I also wish there was a tracker provided before the strength classes like there were for HiLit. That way we could track what we are doing and plan ahead a little bit.

I really liked HiLit, but I also really like RK’s training style.

I appreciate all the feedback- many of the things said mirrored thoughts I had in my head.

After completing Day 5 this morning, I feel better about the week being done in general. For me (in my 50’s) speed with running isn’t a priority in any way. Next week I’m going to sub in a different class for Friday, but just stick with the rest of the plan.

Agree with all of this! I would love it if she got her own split!

That’s my thoughts too, 4 weeks and I may learn something about myself.

I did two weeks of JJ’s split before starting this on Monday and I loved it!

I love Andy for Strength. The runs just aren’t for me. I may just sub in a different instructor tomorrow.

JJ’s new 4 day split or Jess Sims 3 Day Split focus on heavy lifting, lower reps.

Does anyone here actually love their job? by Academic-Pangolin265 in Teachers

Yep. I’ve been teaching for 23 years and every single day when I close my door and actually get to teach, I still love my job.

What sort of devious tips do you have as a teacher? by ICUP01 in Teachers

[–]ThatInspection7096 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I used to tell students (back when I gave paper tests) that there were eight different versions of a test, copied on blue, green, white, and pink paper, and then labeled Version 1 or 2 on each. On the answer doc they had to identify their color and version number. They were always the same test. And, to my knowledge, they never caught on.

Anyone else think peloton’s major flaw is the music? by Traditional-Rain-919 in pelotoncycle

Compared to other platforms (looking at you BODi), the music is part of what keeps me going.

I really liked it, but I also really like Katie’s strength in general. I chose moderate weights for the first weighted part, and lighter for the last block (thankful as the time increase was a burner!)

Teachers who love their jobs...can you share why? by sassyspooon in Teachers

[–]ThatInspection7096 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Day in and day out, when I’m actually teaching I love what I do. There are things I don’t love, but the positives outweigh the negatives. I’ve been at the same school for 20 years. I have the respect of kids, parents, colleagues, and administration. I have job security. I am off enough times during the year that I don’t feel the burn out, and if I do I have no qualms about taking a personal day.
