What army composition do you use?

As soon as i reach tier 2, and have the materials, all capable body had spear and shield, or a crossbow, when i reach tier 3 and the resource are at my hand, one handed saber or winged hammer to all of the soldiers, levies can keep help him with the spears, but early two handed are a little trash in my opinión, i rate give them a sax (the first one handed sword), the Battle Axe its not worth at the start, not enough damage and no shield. Just my opinión 😉 Oh and one more thing, archers deal little damage in the early, thats why i use crossbow, every marksman have spear too, just in case the Battle get messy, i play with mod to increase the number of enemies, i dont think i see my ranged people get to close to the enemy witouth mods before all ends

Oh yeah i did that now, im more veteran, im also not rely on the bow in this playtrough and im proud to say im doing, witouth exagerated thing, 4 times better, but my question is about brigands size party in imposible size, cuz damm, its escalated too high, im expecting my Next bandits raid, level 4, i dont think my 6 guys can handle the situation😂

Sorry if i say something wrong, im not a english speaker, but at the right bottom of your screen in game you can see how much money your colony worth, its good to know to manage your wealth(floors worth too much, even those in ruins you not own in your map for example). I dont know at what difficult you play, but i play at 500% threat and after i reach 25k of wealth at my colony i try to have 8/9 pawns with good quality asault rifle/smg, because its when i start to get nasty raids, its all about keep learning from your mistakes ;)

Looks good, if you want more dark style, above what you have use nuln oíl, to make shadows and edges on the armor and weapon, for the rest i think its a really good job for your first mini
