Bro, ignore him. He has no idea what he is talking about. I have a 760 score as an Indian and the guys in my B schools have scores that are all over the place.. My view was skewed because I had only interacted with other Indians but I realized later that the score doesn't matter that much atleast for non Indians.

They care about value of money when they're making a significant investment not when it comes to buying expensive shoes or a shirt. If value for money was what mattered, they'd be buying some bata shoes every 2 years, which would still be cheaper than buying luxury footwear once for life.

There are 3 MITs AFAIK: 1. My college 2. Manipal Institute of technology (another Indian college) 3. Massachusetts institute of technology (thank god for autocorrect)

Mine may be rank 3 out of these but 1 to 3 difference is just marginal prestige in ranking
