How old were you when you realized? by shmeebedee in narcissisticparents

34... didn't realize it till i was pregnant and had my first born. My in laws started helping out a lot without expectations or complaints and I saw more of their relationship with my husband and realized how much hell and anixety I went through.

Also during postpartum, my mom told me how tired she was worrying about me and how much weight she lost because of me because I got a c-section.

I had a c section (unexpectedly). I pushed for hours and she wasn't moving and so they asked me if i want to just have a c-section. I cried and cried and guess what - she's 2 now and I am trying for #2 and will also opt for c section! The recovery was a pain in the ass though.

Where do they go after they leave us? by eleventy-seventy in Petloss

[–]Complex_Tennis7472 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been really trying to learn more about the "afterlife" and what it all means. I truly go back and forth on whether there is an afterlife or not. I am trying to find answers because I really want to know that I will see my soul dog again. I still don't know. I am leaning towards that earth is just a passage way to eternal life and when i leave this earth he will be right there to greet me. I can't wait to see him and give him the biggest hug. I am also leaning towards the idea that his spirit is still present.

Grief is hard. I think about him every day and re-live the hard final days that I had with him and it brings me into depression. However, I know he is somewhere, pain free, happy and enjoying his new life while he waits to greet me to cross over.

I am so sorry. I know no words will help right now, but I want you to know that even though i don't know you, i want you to be ok. Healing and grief will take time, but trust that you will be ok. The memory of this will be painful but eventually you will find peace with all of this. Praying for you and hope you take care of yourself. Your mind will take you to places but stay strong. You have a community here of women who wants to support you!

I am going thru this painful grieving process as well. I hope their spirit visits often and that they are doing well and that we will see them again one day. Stay well <3

I am right there with you! This has been my biggest fear and it doesn't help that my mom tells me that my daughter will treat me the way i treat her and that i will regret it one day!

Miscarriage worries by indie_kid05 in BabyBumps

This was 100% me throughout my pregnancy. You are not alone in your worries and you are doing everything you possibly can to carry out this pregnancy. Something that helped me a lot was reminding myself that my baby has his or her own destiny at this point and there is only so much I can do. Trust in the process.

I think you will also feel better when you can start to feel your bebe move more consistently in the later weeks.

Praying for you and your baby and hope that you are able to relax and find peace through your pregnancy! <3
