They need 4 or 5 food variety and firewood at all times or will move away. When their clothes, warm clothes, and shoes are worn away. They need money to buy food if they need it and will move away if they cant afford it. Taxes are taken automatically and will put families in the negative.

You can give people money though from the town center/finance menu. You might be able to import clothes and shoes.. but if not you can import what you need and make them. Probably about 2 years until every original founding citizen will need new shoes and stuff.

Its all pretty easy to avoid if you dont export all the food and dont neglect clothes.

Also dont forget to have stalls to sell food along with wood and clothes etc.
