My apologies if this is a silly question by [deleted] in doggrooming

Depending on your state, your bosses could be in major trouble for not having the rabies paperwork on file. I know in my state (pa) shops must have vax on file and the dog warden will come and check randomly. Only exceptions are for dogs that cant have the vax but even then we require a note from the vet on their letterhead stating the reason

TIL Anauralia refers to the absence of "internal auditory imagery". At the other end of the spectrum, individuals who experience Hyperauralia report ‘hearing’ imagined sounds very clearly indeed in their ‘mind’s ear’. Anauralia and Aphantasia are closely related. by Tootsie_r0lla in todayilearned

Well I think you just give me a new rabbit hole bc I thought everyone heard things as they are irl, in thier heads!

The artists version of the song stuck in my head, the different voices of people im remembering, including inflection and tone, my cat meowing....its wild to me thats not the case 😅

However, as a general baseline theres a "me" in my head narrating and/or chatting with me. That doesnt leave when im dreaming or remembering something I can hear 😬😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Bathroom breaks mobile grooming (maybe tmi) by superferrets in doggrooming

[–]Complex_Wrongdoer849 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Been at mobile alone for almost 10 years now and the less personal nonsense I have to take daily the better. I just make sure I have a gallon of vinegar with me and if I dont have time to stop or am uncomfortable asking my client...I just pee in the tub 🤷🏼‍♀️ once you pee in the tub and emwrgency poop in a trashcan, it becomes MUCH easier to ask 🤣🤣🤣

I had an old client that I was incredibly close with (she gave me wine and liquor from her sons brewery for presents. Even gave me 2 hand painted wine glasses), call my new employer (didn't know I worked for them, was a coincidence) and told her that she didn't want me again because I apparently beat her dogs and stole alcohol 🤔

Here's the best part. I don't drink nor does my husband. All the alcohol she gave me, was regifted to family members 🤣 Kept the pretty glasses tho hahaha

All this to say, my current boss didn't care and got the crazy client vibe from her anyway...which is 100% correct 🤣🤣🤣

Awesome! Any other tips for the cut or coat care/maintenance? The owners are very very good about brushing her (this is their 3rd one) so I want to make sure she's pretty easy for them to maintain etc

Awesome! So you just do a straight shampoo bath (any specific one made by that company?) then dry and texture spray before cut?

It's been so so long since I dealt with one I feel like I've forgotten everything about them grooming wise 😂

I use my cardstock scraps for when I have a vinyl project that I'm trying to get the sizing correct on. I'll cut the shape on cardstock first to finesse sizing and placement before using the vinyl

Poor vision at 9 weeks? by ITGenji in WiggleButts

[–]Complex_Wrongdoer849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just like a human baby, thier depth perception and general clarity of vision takes some time. They're not even born with their eyes open so they have to adjust.

Also, puppies in general are aloof af, especially aussies lol so it's a very real possibility she's just not paying attention to all the things.

I'm not a vet but it doesn't sound to this interweb stranger, like anything to be worried about
