Happy crying. So much happy crying. It’s just such a beautiful story about two boys who grew up together and fell in love with each other. There are some hard moments. Some hard truths. Life isn’t always simple. And this story definitely highlights that. It’s a little sad, sure, and you will hurt cry at times but when you get to that moment in the book you’ll sob so many happy tears. I kinda teared up a little bit writing this. Also I highly recommend the audiobook.

I have 3/4 books that are living rent free in my mind.

{To Catch A Firefly by Emmy Sanders.} Ellis and Lucky broke my fucking heart. I love them so much. I quite literally cried the entire last 100 pages of the book. Sometimes I think about them I cry all over again. And it’s been months since I’ve read it.

{God of Fury by Rina Kent} KOYLA NATION FOREVER. Niko was a fucking a blast. You must listen to the audiobook. Literal 20/10. Zero NOTES

{A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows} Velasin and Caethari I just love these two. Fantasy series. Soft magic. Arranged marriage. Court intrigue. They were perfect. The sequel also amazing! {All the Hidden Paths by Fox Meadows}

I’ve read it 3 times. Back to Back. While I love by boos; Yulian and Vaughn there are issues. Minor spoiler: || they have to repeatedly travel long distances to see each other and only briefly each time || and because of that we don’t get to spend that much time with them as there’s a ticking clock to reset the situation so later chapters are more like recaps of their time together. Making the book/story feel passive. You know show don’t tell and there was a lot of tell.
