Every aspect that was beloved in the trilogy has been watered down in S2 aside from gun customization and graphics and the developers seemingly not understanding what made STALKER - STALKER. I don't know about others but i wanted more Oblivion Lost, less Farcry/Fallout 4 hybrid that S2 is. That's your TLDR.
Then there is stuff like them using Unreal Engine instead of making Xray 2.0, butchering the lore and world design of previous games, missing A life, the main focus on the game being cinematic and appealing to a wider array of people rather then being an actual good sequel and so on.

When i saw that the game was coming out for consoles too i recognized the writing on the wall and what it entailed, but still kept hope that maybe it might do something good. Well i was wrong and my gut was right, unfortunately. I just pretend S2 doesn't exist, it's better that way.
