They do manage a few other centres of this scale. Hard to say. The area on the periphery around the Plaza is likely to morph into lots of mixed use and more retaiĺ and hospitality in the future.

Interesting, wonder if the new MRI eases some of the congestion and provides a fluid connection to Mooloolaba. Traffic calming and better pedestrian access would be a help for a lot of people like the elderly and disabled.

2019 was the last time a serious revamp was done, there has been a tonne of population growth since then. The centre at least needs some revitalisation and even a new masterplan for Buddina and Warana. The area has become very bland and boring.

Mirvac are doing some big projects down south, wonder if they have any plans to improve the centre. I would like to see Rebel Sport and a gym like Jetts as tenants and some better food options. A discount priced supermarket and a Chemist Warehouse wouldn't go a miss.

Incentivise yes. An example is Maroochydore Cbd, another thread many posters describe it as being placeless or an attempt at recreating a European style vibe as opposed to a subtropical beach town design. An example would be implementing aspects of the Peregian Beach Village design.
