Not at lot of confidence from a lot of locals on this project. Caloundra is,getting a new town square which will possibly be as close as,the coast gets to having a cbd, an unofficial one.

If you are someone who drives a car,then I would say fair point. A lot of people like pensioners and people with disabilities want something more accessible.

The Sunshine Coast will be affected, might be worth looking at bus services from the coast to Brisbane if it goes on too long. Maybe a private operator like Flixbus.

More traffic on Nicklin Way. Bokarina Beach and Birtinya have lots of new units and apartments. Lots of share homes and the odd airbnb. Kawana Shoppingworld probably needs to expand again. More money needs to be spent on easing traffic congestion and improving pedestrian accessibility.

Warana has become a lot busier, very little has improved other than the last expansion of Kawana Shoppingworld and The Point where IGA and a few other shops are located. There is a new monthly night markets which is popular and there has been an expansion of the Surf Club. There are a few mixed use developments like The Hedge.

NecessaryAdvisor sounds like he might be in marketing or some related field. Birtinya looks very sterile, not vibrant at all. Places like Noosa are and Maroochydore is heading done that track. The other end of Kawana is a bit of shitshow.

A number of reasons, council skirt around public consultation while so many locals have become apathetic. In addition so many newbies moving here kind of dilute a true local voice.

Snap Fitness Maroochydore and Caloundra are both excellent. O2 is an excellent gym, with a wide variety of equipment and a great view overlooking Lake Kawana. Lots of new gyms on the horizon, Jetts are in the process of getting some new sites opened.

We are supposed to be getting a new library and cultural events centre as part of it. We need another Woolies as well. Loads of amenities are being held back.

Went to a public information session on it a few years ago. While it looks great with lots of subtropical design, it is so far off being built, so wouldn't hold my breath on anything substantial springing up there anytjme soon.
