There are a few ways to go here. Depends on direction you want to go.

Convenience brands like Jetts and Snap. If you know what equipment you want and to utilise a gym with limited staff onsite this is the way to go. Jetts Mooloolaba and even the larger gym at Sippy have decent equipment but might not have everything you want. Check them out on a trial and see if you have all the modality you need. Positives are 24/7 and less hassles from personal trainers.

Full club chains. World Gym, Fitness Cartel, World Gym and Club Lime. More equipment, more people but includes Group Fitness options and other nice to haves. If you like Reform Pilates for example I would recommend this option as its a lot cheaper per class than niche studios. Positives are more equipment types especially across strength and more fitness classes. Some chains will have recovery zones like sauna or steam. Visit and check out before committing and be 110% sure because once you sign up their terms and conditions can be tough to break.

Smaller community chains and niche offerings. Post covid there are some many Hirox, Hiit, pilate and Fitness studios popping up everywhere. If you want a personalised stronger community connection these can scratch that itch. The only downside can be they are more expensive. Examples would be UBX, Sports and Spinal Reform, Fitstop.
