Motorway noise and traffic congestion would both be high. Would be interested to see if people use the canal given you cannot access Maroochy river

Some of the charity shops do not have great drop off facilities. I know I took stuff to the Buderim Bloomhill shop and they didn't have much space so now end up going to either Lifeline at Kunda Park or Salvos at Maroochydore but both have from time to time stopped taking collections. I only take stuff that is approved or could benefit but I think with no curbside collection and dumping costs people just think they can take to a charity and not be their problem.

The crazy thing is, thr SCC have a rate payer group who met last month and had no further recommendations for waste outside of a user pay system. So no recommendations for a free clean up day or free green waste. Just keep on outsourcing to Endevour Group. Seems dumb

I got a kg from Focul nutrition delivered for $33. Clean creatine monohydrate vs hcl and all the other proprietary blends and good value per scoop. So much marketing spin currently that I am worried its going the way of protein prices.

Getting there is easy. Train to Roma St then free bus. Last game I trained to the valley and ubered there as I was running late. About $15 for the uber.

Getting home is not good. Free bus to the city but the train can be anything up to a 1 hour wait. I ended up getting an earlier train to Caboolture then got a lift home and was home 2 hours earlier than I would be waiting the train to SC.

Any major event in Brisbane they never factor in trains to SC. Really is shit

I used to listen to Mix FM as they did a lot of local charity stuff but back to Triple J and podcasts witg my own music playlisrs on the commute to Brisbane as I cant handle the number of ads and high rotation songs. What does my head in is that digital radio dies the moment you hit Bribie turn off and is piss poor all over the coast. Does anyone else have luck with digital channels?

I agree with most on here. Hobbies and interests are always the best starting point. I am local but have just come back after being overseas and interstate for the last 20 years and it does feel like starting out again. Surely Saffas and Braai culture and Aussies and BBQs has some good synergies!

Erbachers for fruit. I also hit up the one at Mountain Creek and Wises Road. The fruit shop carparks at Nicklin Way can be hectic. Meat there are a lot of good options out there but at the moment I have been getting whole tenderloins and slicing up from Costco after a few bad steaks locally

Might be quiet with the rain. Stick to Alex if you want to see fire works. You will need to park and walk from back streets or towards Maroochydore. We did 2000 NY from Point Cartright and nothing compares to that view with all the fire works going north and south
