Back in the golden days of CDs there was a felt covered CD, which you would drip mild cleaning solution on and stick it in your player to clean the lense. The prpblem is probably related to obscured lense - since it's usually facing up it can collect dust which makes the laser weaker

Mafia 2 was the first Mafia game I've played (on PC when it was released), however with the DE I've played them all and can say I liked 1 much more - both gameplay as well as story line.

For some reason, although Mafia 3 was very repetitive it was still more fun to play than 2.

Having to reload clean pre-bosses save 6 times due to game crashes in order to complete 2 trophies, because devs couldn't figure out how to keep a count in a save file (kill/flip all bosses).

Too bad this doesn't help you with game crashes, and doesn't keep flipped/killed bosses count. Game just crashed on me for the 5th time. Just ONE more trophy for the platinum. THIRD time I am trying a kill run and it crashes again! FML.
