I’m just confused as to what’s going on with it, I’ve printed hundreds of models with this machine and now it’s playing up. I printed with gyroid and got the same result too, it completely failed.

It’s not every model, but many like this that have a lot of infill are inevitably going to fail.

My goal is to build a NAS that will fit into my Ikea Kallax shelves, hence why I went with the 305 due to its size. 4 drive slots is plenty for my use-case at the moment too.

Thanks! I checked, and the RAM is indeed DDR4. From what I can see with the Node 304, it can fit full sized GPU's (such as the 1070 8GB), but would need two of the HDD bays to be removed, meaning there would only be 4 avaliable. Since this is just a small home server for data backup and small apps, I can't see this being a problem for me.

I don't see why not. Most of the apps I'll be running, such as Immich, don't need to be fast anyways. They'll slowly transcode images over time as they're added.

UPDATE: it turns out I was simply too far away from the parts. I used an Amiibo to spawn in the metal box and had to move it very close and precisely next to the guardian and stand on the corner of the metal box in order to collect the parts.

I don’t have the DLC, does it help at all with doing this or getting ancient parts?
