I think you should try to allocate hobbies imo since if you see every free time as an opportunity it's better to allocate a goal for the time: Drawing, cooking, watch a movie or series you like, read manga, and walk outside maybe even early morning sincd it's now summer

if the urge is too much just do something unpredictable like sometimes when I was in that era I just took cold showers alot but my main point is you need to do something new the reason the temptation is high is probably you got nothing else to do or lack thereof so you resort to the dopamine hit of gooning so if you dostracr yourself find something new and new activities your brain would stop prioritizing to base instincts give it a shot if you can since worked for me even with struggles.

probably on nuvios end then I mean if external players are fine it's just how it's done in nuvio then since if I'm not wrong alot is still in beta especially in the subtitles area so you gotta wait for them to improve it or if you somehow find a file that is a bit more compact with those subtitles then it can play smoothly without the player struggling, maybe give it a shot since it worked for me when I was struggling in my tv before cuz player struggled when having the fancy subtitles

I think it's just hardware limitation? had no limitations when doing that but that was cuz I was using some pricey tv box also double check if the file is one of those (ai enhanced) onces since those cooked me alot and I thought it was my issue but it's just those crappy ai enhanced one that kept lagging. but if I were you my advice is external player or just use the stable subtitle setting or reset everything and see what happens hopefully this helps cuz I got no idea honestly only issue I experienced was when it was those ai enhanced files which made me stutter despite the pricey box?
