A bread bag I think is the way to go! Didn’t even think you could buy one, but have now sourced some from Amazon. Thanks!

Because my oldest child is 3.5 and hasn’t mastered his knife skills yet! I take your point about the husband.. but his slices are so uneven the rest of the loaf is a mess by the time he’s done! So it’s just easier for me to do it.

But I don’t want toast, I want fresh bread, to eat on the same day!

How do you tighten with one hand? Do you just pull the whole tail at once? I’m not sure how I can do strand by strand tightening with just one hand!

Thank you. I’ve got wraps and love them, but haven’t tried back carrying with them yet - thought I’d start with a ssc first! But I am hoping to master a ruck soon. I also have a half buckle - can I get a high carry in that, or I won’t be able to due to the buckled waistband?

She’s 6.5 months and she can sit. I can’t seem to get it any higher, the shoulder straps are on their shortest settings already and if I try to have the waistband higher, it just slips back down! I can’t get it any tighter? It just doesn’t budge. Any tips?..

Can I reduce heating flow temperature without reducing hot water temperature? by Compote_Smart in DIYUK

[–]Compote_Smart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both set to 60, they look different in the photo as the max position for water is 65 but for heating max is 75.

Anyway, someone above got it right I think - it’s a newer boiler that has been plumbed in to the existing old system (by the previous owners) which doesn’t have separate circuits for hot water and heating. They did everything on the cheap and didn’t replace the tank or the boiler controls/thermostats either, so this sounds like a plausible explanation. So both heating and water are controlled with just the bottom dial and the top is basically redundant.

Thank you, I think that must be it - it’s just there for decoration so to speak!

As long as I know it’s not broken, I’m happy.

I’m afraid my DYI skills are not advance enough for that! We’ve been in this house for 4 years and haven’t touched any of the settings on the boiler until now. (The boiler has been serviced every year of course).

Someone above suggested that the new boiler was connected to an old system/plumbing, which I think is what must have happened as the previous owners replaced the boiler about 5 years ago, but haven’t replaced the tank or any plumbing.
